Did the RoR crash after first crack in my last roast?

No crash. RoR eased from 15.1°/min at dry end to 6.5° at first crack (6:13), flicked up to 6.8° just after, then fell steadily to 4° at drop.

Development was 0:55, 12.9% of 7:08, with 4.1° from first crack to drop. A light, fast finish: if it tasted thin, ease the heat a little before first crack to stretch development toward 1:10.

  1. Open Add custom connector in Claude.
  2. Name it RoastHUD, paste the address and choose Add.
  3. Choose Connect, sign in and Allow.

  2. In Plugins, add a custom MCP server named RoastHUD and paste the address.

Questions

Is it free?

Yes, RoastHUD doesn't charge for it. Adding your own connector isn't on every Claude or ChatGPT plan: ChatGPT needs a paid plan for developer mode.

Can it change or delete my roasts?

No. It can only read your batches, notes and beans. Editing and deleting stay in RoastHUD.

Can an agent set RoastHUD up for me?

Coding agents like Claude Code, Codex and Cursor can: copy the prompt with Onboard your agent and paste it in. In Claude and ChatGPT a chat can't add connectors, so it walks you through their settings.

Which roasts does it work with?

Every roast in your RoastHUD account: imported from Roest, Aillio Bullet (Roast World), Artisan or Stronghold, or logged by hand.

Who sees my roasts?

Only the app you connect, and only when you ask it something that needs them. What it reads is handled under that app's own privacy policy.

How do I disconnect it?

In RoastHUD's Settings, under Connected apps. It loses access right away. You can also remove the connector in Claude or ChatGPT.

ChatGPT doesn't see RoastHUD's new tools. Why?

ChatGPT keeps the list of tools from when you added RoastHUD. Refresh RoastHUD in its Plugins settings.

Why is it in early access?

It's being tested with a few roasters first, to get the answers right. Write to us to join.

What is MCP?

The Model Context Protocol: the standard way Claude, ChatGPT and other AI apps connect to other services. RoastHUD runs an MCP server at its own address.
